reformation
no revolution succeeds that is not born of a reformation.
a reformation is a shift in perspective shared by a substantial portion of a population.
every revolution carries the seeds of another reformation.
reform, revolt, reform, revolt, reform- a cycle that hones the wisdom and politic of our species.
but
from the perspective afforded by generational wealth, it is a pattern that's predictable- a force to be driven.
IF it ever was, revolution is no longer a viable way of bringing worth while change to a society.
at this point, civilization has been carefully crafted to press a predictable linage of revolutionary effort
and
government is an institutional means to coopt and redirect the energy in that effort toward some end.
this is done by means of propaganda and a monopoloy on legitimate violence, but
no end will ever justify those means.
